Worse appliance ever

Bought this a year ago and I HATE it! Grilled out all summer to avoid using it but now with winter in Wisconsin I am back at it. The stove controls how much heat the elements have, not the cook. It takes forever to get a pot of water to boil because only half the element works at a time! Forget frying anything because it won't get that hot. I play musical burners, first starting on the front 8" burner and when it "shuts off" I quickly switch to the back burner and shut off the front. When the back burner shuts off, I switch back to the front. WORSE appliance I have ever used in my life! I talked my daughter into a different stove so she could avoid this lemon. Stop trying to reinvent the wheel and stick to what works-like a stove with burners the cook actually controls and that actually heat.

I build new home and builders put whirlpool range but it's not heats up it's take 5 hrs to cooks and I call whirlpool and they told they will call me but they not it's been 2 weak but never get call

This is the worst appliance My wife has ever bought. It takes forever to even boil water. This tells me Whirlpool is using the cheapest wiring so they can line their pockets> This must be why the store has a no return policy. What has happened to Whirlpool? I will no longer purchase any of their products due to such poor quality>

I have had my new range/oven for a couple weeks now and am thrilled with it. My old oven was no longer working so I had actually been cooking with the broiler. Very limited. The new oven and stovetop are great.

Burners never got hot enough. Had to go buy 2 new burners for a new stove. I blame that on Home Depot for selling an inferior stove. If it was a floor model, they did not tell us that and if not, the burners just didn't work right and the two that we didn't replace still don't function properly. All the Whirlpool products we have purchased in the past worked very well and our washer lasted past 20 years and the dryer still works.

This may be too soon to evaluate because we have only had the stove about a month. We had a total kitchen remodel, including floors, counter tops, and appliances. Our company recommended, delivered, and installed this stove. I have always had GE brand before and hated to part with my 32 year old stove that was still cooking and baking, but this stove looks nice and I really like the large oven with 5 shelf positions. Also appreciate the automatic preheat countdown. So far, the stove top cleans up (black as opposed to the off-white) and cooking has been fine. I do not like how very hot the stove top becomes when the oven works and the storage drawer seems rather flimsy and much smaller than what I had. We also got Whirlpool built in microwave and dishwasher to match. My refrigerator is the same brand so I guess now I am a full-fledged Whirlpool customer.

We've been married for 40 years. We have always purchased Whirlpool appliances. This range is exactly like the previous one we purchased . . . Except the stove eyes. They are now energy efficient. The eyes have 2 coils, 1 for the inner rings and 1 for the outer rings. The heat switches back and forth between the 2 coils. Therefore it takes a lot longer to boil a large pot of water (such as for tea). We were not aware of this until we ask for a warranty repairman to check out our new range. He explained this feature. This would create a problem for me when I attempt to can vegetables with a pressure canner. We went to our Home Depot store and found a regular stove eye. . . And it works great with our Whirlpool range. Also, the oven bakes perfect loaves of yeast bread which I bake at least every other week...some times every week. My family, friends, & co-workers always give great compliments for the bread.

I purchased this stove in Dec. of 2018. It replaces my 20 year old Whirlpool stove whose oven circuit board stopped working. It could not be replaced. It's pretty much identical to the stove I had, except being black. I love the updated control panel. I've never owned a self-cleaning oven before, so that's really exciting for me. All of my appliances for 20 years plus have been Whirlpool. This stove is the first one of my group to be replaced. That says something about the quality.

My house does not have access to gas, so an electric stove is what I needed. This one is awesome. I did not want the flat service, because they do not regulate heat very well. I have been very pleased with the heat regulation with this one. Love the self cleaning oven, though it is too new to have used it. The black finish is a bit harder to keep looking clean, since it shows fingerprints. Not something I would lower my rating for, since it matches our other appliances.

Our stove died and instead of buying parts to fix an outdated stove, for pretty much the same cost, got this one on sale. Its nice has all the same features and works excellent. Only time will tell if it stands up to the rigors of a family of 6. But so far its doing great. Also buying something new is more of an incentive to try to take better care of it.

I bought this a month ago and so happy I did. Our previous range was a Whirlpool, it was so good we decided we would purchase another one. Delivery people delivered and was to take our old one away, they asked why we were getting rid of it & I said because it is 18-19 years old, they said it looked new, they couldn't believe it was that old. I said it had been such a great range we weren't buying anything but Whirlpool & we have a 52 gal life time water heater the basement. When people see it they a fascinated, it chrome or stainless steel with lifetime warranty.
