Bought my refrigerator two months ago and I love it! My two complaints are it makes a high screeching noise when running and the water dispenser is hard to operate, the button should be where the glass hits it not above the spout, plus it's very hard to push. Even then, I still love it!

Built well. Low vertical clearance on shelves. Could use more space for things like milk jugs. Can be loud. I like the ice maker and water dispenser inside (I have well water and had water stains on outside of old fridge - no more!)

We recently moved into a new old house in need of some major upgrades, specifically in the kitchen. After tons of research and multiple visits to multiple appliance stores, we decided to go with Kitchen Aid without any hesitation. We purchased the 25 Cu. Ft. 36-Width Standard Depth French Door Refrigerator with Interior Dispense and let me tell you. We like the clean simple industrial look. No outside water/ice dispenser. This does have an icemaker and water dispenser on the inside that work great. We are extremely happy.

I selected this refrigerator along with all Kitchen Aid appliances for my new home. To be honest, I've always preferred a top-freezer model and resisted upgraded french-door / bottom freezer models until now. I LOVE this fridge. The refrigerator portion is much roomier than any I have had before, I cook a lot and never run short of space! Features I love are the full drawer for meats/cheeses, the "fold-up" half shelf that allows for taller items in front, and the wine/bottle holder that holds up to 4 bottles of your favorite wine horizontally while still allowing plenty of room on the shelf below for things such as casserole dishes, etc. And to my surprise, the bottom freezer capacity seems greater than I expected and I don't mind so much reaching down for my freezer items vs. having them at eye level like I thought I would :-)

Overall happy with this purchase. The water spigot inside should be designed for single handed usage. Takes one hand to push the spigot and the other to hold the glass. Awkward. Nice space for all items. Like the wine rack feature.

I have owned this refrigerator for 3 weeks. It was part of a complete kitchen update. Lots of compliments on the appearance. Love the clean look of the outside and convenience of water in the interior. Much easier to find things in this style over my old side by side. The deli drawer is large. Love that I can easily read the temp of the refrigerator and freezer when I open the fridge. Makes nice ice. I was very happy to discover that the exterior is magnetic. It has been easy to keep clean by wiping with a soft towel.

I have only had this refrigerator for a little over a week. So far, it runs fairly quiet. I like the refrigerator layout on top and am happy that there is a digital readout of the temperatures of both the freezer and refrigerator. However, the freezer on the bottom does not hold as many items as my side by side version did. I am not happy that the black finish is not durable. You cannot spray Windex on it as it will ruin the finish. You also cannot wipe it with a paper towel or have any magnets, as the finish will be scratched. For a household item that is used by many people, several times a day, you shouldn't have to be worried about ruining the exterior finish. I have a Whirlpool dishwasher and microwave oven. Both have black shiny finishes that are very durable. I have sprayed them with Windex and wiped them with a paper towel many times, so I don't understand why this finish is so different.

We've had this fridge about three weeks and it's working great. Quiet with no issues. Refrigerator portion is very large and well lit. Freezer section is a little small but adequate unless you have a large family. Then it might be cramped. The interior water dispenser works great and because it's inside it gives the exterior a very clean look. We are not using the ice maker. So far this has been a great buy.

I have never owned KitchenAid appliances before and was so excited to get my new fridge. We have had problems since we got it. The meat bin cover plastic broke in the first week. We battle ice-build up in the freezer constantly. The door handles are not very solid and the freezer handle is loose. I was expecting so much more--I did want to buy an American-made product.

Bad part leaked damaged new hard wood floor

I purchased this refrigerator brand new they delivered it on my new hardwood floor. The installer came the same day and hooked the water line. The next morning my new floor was soaking wet and starting to warp. I immediately turned off the water supply. I called the installer he came out that day he determined that it was a bad water pressure switch and not his installation. I mentioned this to several of our friends they all said "good luck" getting anything from whirlpool. I sent in a request for damages anyway and got a huge list of demands from Whirlpool in order to even file a claim what a "nightmare" they would not even send anyone out to inspect it. Thankfully the hard wood floor guy referred us to a water restoration company they came out the same day and hooked up floor water vacuum system at $100.00 per day for 6 days and the damage is minimal. I later discovered that Whirlpool owns about 1/3 of the appliances in the US. That explains a lot. I think that buying any appliances in the US today is like it was buying a new US made car in the 80's they were making a lot of Garbage and letting the service departments deal with it.

My wife and I bought a KitchenAid, 25 Cu Ft, French door refrigerator back in Oct. 2018. There is an apparent quality control issue with the frame-fronts of these units being "bowed" inward, causing the freezer drawer not to seal properly. Warm and cold air mixing along the top of the freezer drawer seal causes ice to build up on top of the drawer and also freezing up the interior freezer light switch, making it in-op. The second service call for our refrigerator rendered our appliance "non-repairable" and KitchenAid brought us a brand new unit of the same model. This new unit is worse than the first one, suffering from the very same quality problem, but even more so. One would think that if a company knew it had a documented quality control issue and were willing to replace the problem unit free of charge, they would take the necessary steps NOT to repeat that same complaint with the same customer, but that's exactly what you did! We are not happy with our refrigerator choice at all. To compound the problem, these are big, heavy appliances and quite frankly, wheeling them in and out through the front door of our home is a huge undertaking, causing excess wear and tear on the walls and hardwood floors of our home. I am NOT WILLING to keep going through that process until you get it right. We are ready to go in a different direction. We appreciate KitchenAid's willingness to try and make things right, but we no longer believe in the quality of the KitchenAid name. What a shame! In the past, KitchenAid was synonymous with quality. What happened???

My husband and I purchased all new kitchen appliances for our newly built home and I am glad we went with KitchenAid! The fridge is sleek in design and offers plenty of room for all of our groceries. I've never seen the water dispenser on the inside of the fridge before, but it works for us. Kind of nice not having it on the outside of the fridge. The only thing is that it can be a pain to have to open up the door in order to dispense water. Overall, we are very happy with the purchase and the black stainless looks great in our kitchen!

Bought this appliance less than a month ago. Already have had to have a service tech check it for excessive noise. Was told that it was the new normal, and to place a rug under it to help deaden the noise. (made the problem worse!!)
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought we were living in the 21st Century not the 50's. Most dish washers are quieter than this frig.

I should have bought kitchen aid years ago if I had known how good it is .
