Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

Excellent Product

Bought a month ago to replace our 25 year old Amana cooktop. Great product. My only negative input is the "melt function still seems too hot.

Love, Love Love

My old cooktop was the old electrical type that had the rings that never stayed in place. Now I just wipe it down and poof, beautiful again.

Worst stovetop ever!

Dissatisfied in vt 6/3/2021

This glass stovetop crazed the first time I turned it on and every time I've used it since. Not tempered glass. Horrible. Don't ever buy one! I wish I could get my money back. It is so distressing everytime I look at it.

Design and assembly gaffs

Donald the IBEW Sparky 9/14/2020

This unit replaced a 30" Amana combination resistance/halogen 4 burner unit. While the new unit performs as expected, I was disappointed that the advertising hype does match the physical device. It did not fit the counter top opening, which required increasing the length by 1/2". Not a big deal you say? It was a major problem as the counter top finish is 3/8 ceramic tile--old and brittle. It broke in every direction--not along the score line. Depth of unit-- as advertised-- would nicely clear the sliding cabinet drawers below the unit, IF one could believe the specs. And while the units designed depth (ceramic surface to bottom metal housing) did match the installation drawing dimensions, those clever assemblers attached internal components with metal screws that extended from 3/4" to 1.25" beyond the bottom pan (hence extending the actual depth of the unit. Had to remove the unit, flip over and hand saw all five screws off flush to the metal bottom pan the to get necessary clearance as expected from pre-purchase study of published installation/specification data. The burner control knobs are poorly conceived. They look nice but they are impractical and perhaps dangerous. At a glance, it is nearly impossible to discern the OFF position from the 180 turned medium temp setting. The single lamp "tells all" design decision (i.e., burner "on" guess which one of the four, and the single "hot surface" (somewhere) lamp exacerbates the problem. If you are using more than on burner you still need a visual check to discern that a previously used burner is in fact safely in the "off" position. The slope on the "front" of the knob is far too shallow to easily distinguish the front from the back of the knob. And, there is no color differentiation. A small contrasting dot or thin line would make all the difference. Finally, the data plate showing the electrical specifications does not simply state the correct circuit fusing amperage. Get out the calculator. (The old one was 40a/240vac. As best I can calculate the new cook top should be fused as 30a/240vac. But new breaker is only another $15.) In short allow about twice as much time for installation as you might reasonably expect. In addition to space issues, the larger than needed metal flex pig-tail connector is less flexible than the old one, so requires more room to make tight bends nicely accommodated in the old unit connector. Otherwise, it was as expected. Unit price was fair and getting used to comparable smaller burner sizes was not a difficult adjustment. Look nice and performs well.

Good Cooking Top

Lao Lu 3/26/2019

I bought this cooktop from Home Depot to replace my old broken one. It is a nice with everything as expected. I have to cut a bigger hole on the countertop because my previous cooktop is a little smaller. Besides that, instanllation is easy. There is no need to spend more than $150 to hire a professional to install it if you know how to connect the electric wires. The smallest heat element is 6". It could be better to be 4" to accomdate pots with small size.

Great Product

Kamechin 1/24/2019

I bought the 30" Amana Cooktop in January 2019. Since my old Amana cooktop was functioning in the past 20 years with some parts replacement, the price was comparable with other products I decided to buy the Amana product. It is functioning well. If Amana makes the variety of size, it would be appealing to many customers with smaller or larger cooktop.

Listen to the consumers

The burners are misplaced. With the large burner on the front, IF for Chefs, please note, they do NOT do their own cleanup. The large burner receives the most use and have to worry about children touching it, pull it off, grease popping on the floor, splatter on your clothing. We can stir fry on a large back burner, very easily. These new appliances are why people eat out and don't cook at home. The white glass is a nightmare to clean, scrubbing like h-- to get it clean, they break and scratch. Even my neighbor , 80ish, said she does not like the placement of the burners. Friends have said about having to wipe the floor after cooking. We prefer splashes to hit the back splash and we can wipe it clean. Moving the food around in the pan so it all can cook on the small burners is ridiculous. . Appliances from years past were easier to clean, did not scratch, looked great after many years and still work and you didn't have to have a special cleaner to clean them and both large burners were on the back!!!!!!! .
